1. Under the leadership of Social Work Department of CPC Central Committee, to perform Party-building leadership functions to public institutions and industrial associations under CMIF administration;

2. To conduct research and investigations, and propose policy recommendations;

3. Statistical analysis and release of machinery industry economic information;

4. To organize the development and revision of national, industrial and social organization standards, as well as technical specifications;

5. To carry out product quality certification, supervision and brand building;

6. To carry out technical exchange and cooperation, as well as coordination of major equipment and technology initiatives;

7. To organize jury for machinery industry technological awards and achievements evaluations;

8. To carry out international and regional (Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao) exchanges and cooperation;

9. To organize domestic and international exhibitions of the industry;

10. Compilation of industry development plans and industrial policies, and promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as coordinated regional development;

11. To organize industrial model selection, technical skills competition and talent cultivation;

12. To develop rules and regulations and to promote industry self-discipline and the construction of ESG system;

13. To provide management consultancy and to raise cultural-ethical standards and corporate culture construction;

14. Publish and distribution of journals, organizing of communications, and managing newspapers and publishing houses of the public institutions and industrial associations that under CMIF ’s administration;

15. To build a platform for companies and entrepreneurs to crack down difficulties , and promote high-quality development of the industry.
